Global Networks Staff Update
Global Networks is pleased to introduce two new members to our management team–Brian McBride and Charlene Ayers. |

As the new Manager of Global Networks, Brian McBride oversees the Provider Relations and Provider Finance teams. Brian joined GeoBlue in 2016 as part of the Global Health & Safety (GHS) team, managing cases for expat, student and individual members before becoming a supervisor in 2017. In 2022, he joined the Fraud, Waste and Abuse team responsible for claim controls, cost review and fraud investigation. |

Brian has traveled extensively in South America, where he studied and lived in Argentina and Ecuador, respectively. He now resides outside of Philadelphia with his wife and three children. In his free time, Brian enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening and spending time in nature. He is also a big fan of Philadelphia sports. |

Charlene Ayers joined GeoBlue in April 2024 as Relationship Manager, where she manages the business relationship between GeoBlue and Bupa Global for the GeoBlue corporate expat product. A native of Stuttgart, Germany, Charlene is fluent in German and brings nearly 10 years of extensive industry knowledge in both domestic U.S. and international healthcare to her role. Prior to joining GeoBlue, Charlene managed multiple U.S. and international clients with GMMI, serving as the Strategic Account Manager for the FEP program. |

Charlene currently resides in Florida. She enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling and spending quality time with her family.

In certain states, legal services benefits are provided through insurance coverage underwritten by Metropolitan General Insurance Company, Warwick, Rhode Island. Tax Planning and preparation of Living Trusts are not covered by the Will Preparation Service.
Estate Resolution Services are offered by MetLife Legal Plans, Inc., Cleveland, Ohio. In certain states, legal services benefits are provided through insurance coverage underwritten by Metropolitan General Insurance Company, Warwick, Rhode Island. Certain services are not covered by Estate Resolution Services, including matters in which there is a conflict of interest between the executor and any beneficiary or heir and the estate; any disputes with the group policyholder, MetLife and/or any of its affiliates; any disputes involving statutory benefits; will contests or litigation outside probate court; appeals; court costs, filing fees, recording fees, transcripts, witness fees, expenses to a third party, judgments or fines; and frivolous or unethical matters.
Grief Counseling services are provided by a vendor not affiliated with DelAm, and the services provided are separate and apart from the insurance provided by DelAm. The vendor’s network of Counselors have master’s or doctoral degrees and are licensed professionals. The Grief Counseling program does not provide support for issues such as: domestic issues, parenting issues, or marital/relationship issues (other than a finalized divorce). For such issues, members should inquire with their human resources department about available company resources. Events that may result in a loss are not covered under this program unless and until such loss has occurred. This program is available to Employees and their family members, as well as to beneficiaries at the time of a death claim. Family members are defined as an Employee’s lawful spouse, domestic partner, natural child, adopted child, and stepchild. Services are not available in all jurisdictions and are subject to regulatory approval.
